The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on MONDAY January 10, 2000 at the Dapelo residence, 141 Monarch Bay Drive. A homeowner forum will be held at the beginning of the meeting, to provide the homeowners with an opportunity to discuss issues directly with the Board.
The February Board meeting will be held on TUESDAY February 15, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Powell residence, 115 Monarch Bay Drive. The meeting would normally be held on Monday February 14th, but due to the Valentine's Day schedule, the meeting will be held on the following evening. Thank you for your understanding.
PLAYGROUND SURVEY
The survey results have been tallied and the results are as follows: 59 homeowners were in favor of a playground being installed, 57 homeowners were opposed and 5 were undecided. Based on the split vote, the Board has tabled this proposal as presented. Other options may be considered in the near future, but no action is being taken on the playground proposal as submitted. We appreciate your feedback and we will keep you posted on future issues.

We have had some difficulties with the holiday lighting at the entry, but we hope you are pleased with the end result. We have hired a new contractor this year that has really put all of his effort in it and should have the bugs worked out for a smooth season next year. A very special thank you to Progressive Community Management for having the pointsettias installed at the entry to add to the festive holiday season.
We appreciate all of the festive holiday decorations in the community this year, it looks wonderful! We don't want to put a damper on the season, but please remember that all holiday decorations must be removed by the end of January in compliance with the Association's governing documents.
