The Bay Banter - January 2000
NEXT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on TUESDAY February 15, 2000 at the Powell residence, 115 Monarch Bay Drive. A homeowner forum will be held at the beginning of the meeting, to provide the homeowners with an opportunity to discuss issues directly with the Board.

The March Board meeting will be held on MONDAY March 13, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kranser residence, 75 Monarch Bay Drive.

VOTE YES ON MEASURE F

Monarch Bay residents have set the standard for financial support of the Safe and Healthy Communities Initiative Vote Yes on Measure F campaign. Over two thirds of all residents in the community have contributed to the fund-raising effort since the drive began in October. More than $200,000 has been raised in Monarch Bay.

If you have not participated, last minute contributions are needed to meet this month's heavy campaign commitments. Please make your check to Citizens for Safe and Healthy Communities and get it to Cliff Anderson at 241 Monarch Bay Drive.

Other communities are following our lead: The Monarch Bay success has been a major talking point at Yes on Measure F fund-raising meeting throughout south county.

The election is on March 7. If you have moved in the past two years, be sure to register to vote at your new address. Obtain an absentee ballot if there is a chance that you will be away on election day. Young people who turn 18 prior to March 7th may also register now in preparation for their first election experience. All re-registrants and new registrants must send in their registration forms no later than February 1st. Forms are also available at the Post Office, DMV, or City offices. For information call Cliff Anderson, Wayne Rayfield or Len Kranser.
