| COMMUNITY REMINDERS
Please remember to remove and/or destroy your Monarch Bay vehicle decals when you sell or trade your car. If you need a new decal, please contact Helen Hustedt at 499-9892. Monarch Bay recently experienced vandalism when a group of young people removed the security signs from a number of homes in the community. Most of these signs were recovered, so if you are still missing your security sign, it can be retrieved at Helen Hustedtís home by calling her at 499-9892. Although the streets within our community are private, the California Vehicle Code is used to govern the use of vehicles on our streets. The use of golf carts are prohibited by un-licensed drivers on our community streets. Additionally, a new California law effective January 1, 2000 restricts the use of motorized skateboards to riders over 16 years of age and wearing a helmet. These laws will be enforced to protect the safety of all of our residents. Visitng guests with recreational vehicles (campers, motor homes, trailers, etc...) are not permitted to proceed beyond the entrance gate area, but may be parked in the parking lot adjacent the tennis court for a period not exceeding 48 consecutive hours. |
