The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday May 8, 2000 at the Girvetz residence, 422 Monarch Bay Drive. A homeowner forum will be held at the beginning of the meeting, to provide the homeowners with an opportunity to discuss issues directly with the Board. The June Board meeting will be held on Monday, June 12, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. at the Anderson residence, 241 Monarch Bay Drive.
SPRING PLUMBING PROJECT
As our homes age, we have seen more incidents of plumbing problems, specifically sewer line back-ups occur. It was noted by several residents that they were sorry they did not have a preventative maintenance program in place to address this issue prior to the sewer line backing up into their homes. A simple preventative measure is to have your main sewer line cleaned out on at least an annual basis, but if you start to notice that drains are slowing, you need to have this work done quickly. We have attempted to obtain a flat rate price for this work within our community; however, due to varying conditions from home to home, this was not possible.
One of our local, well-liked plumbers American Plumbing, is offering a 10% discount on their main line sewer cleaning services to all Monarch Bay homeowners.
