NEXT BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday February 12, 2001 at the Hustedt residence, 225 Monarch Bay Drive. A homeowner forum will be held at the beginning of the meeting, to provide the homeowners with an opportunity to discuss issues directly with the Board. The March Board meeting will be held on Monday, March 12, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Marlow residence, 401 Monarch Bay Drive.

AUDIT
Enclosed please find the audited financial statement prepared by the accounting firm of Schonwit & Associates for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2000 in compliance with California Civil Code 1365. If you would like a full size copy of the audit, please do not hesitate to call Lisa at Progressive Community Management and we will be happy to provide a full size copy at no cost. Please keep this information with your permanent records as a copy of the audit may be required during a sale or re-finance of your home. Thank you.

STREET SWEEPING REMINDER
The Association contracts with Major Sweeping Service to provide street sweeping service every Friday within our community. To make the most of this service, we respectfully request that you ask your guests and/or contractors to park off of the community street on Fridays. This will help keep Monarch Bay’s streets looking beautiful. Thank you for your cooperation.

2001 MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
The final type-setting is being completed for the 2001 Monarch Bay Membership Directory. Please watch your mail in early February for your copy.

MALL LANDSCAPE ISSUES
The Mall area irrigation upgrade project has been delayed due to unexpected difficulties with the electrical service connections and potential plan changes. In early February, we hope to provide more detailed information to the Mall homeowners of what you can expect during the construction process. We apologize for the project delays, but assure you that the most prudent approach is being evaluated and implemented to ensure the best installation possible.
