ADDRESS PAINTING PROJECT
During the week of January 6th - 10th, the Association has contracted with a service to paint the address number on the curb in front of each home. They will be using reflective paint so that addresses can be more easily spotted in the dark. If you do not wish to have your address number painted on the curb in front of your home, please tape a note over your existing address number on the curb beginning January 6th, or call Progressive Community Management before January 6th.
2003 MONARCH BAY DIRECTORY
We are beginning the production of the 2003 Monarch Bay Directory. If you have had any changes since the 2002 directory or are new to the community, please complete the form below and return it to Progressive Community Management by mail or by facsimile by January 10, 2003. We have added a line for e-mail addresses if you wish to include them.
If we do not receive a response from you by January 10, 2003, we will maintain your listing from the 2002 Directory. Thank you for your cooperation.

LEGAL UPDATE
The Board has been working diligently to produce a final written settlement of the lawsuit with the St. Regis and Beach Club which covers all the bases and which will be readily enforceable. All significant issues have been agreed to and a final sign-off is expected soon after the holidays.
CONSTRUCTION RULES
The newly revised and adopted rules governing the construction process in Monarch Bay were implemented on November 1st. If you experience an on-going parking problem with construction vehicles that violate the rules, please call the guard house. The guards will then pass along your concerns to the Patrol officer that performs daily inspections of the construction parking situation to issue tickets accordingly.
Please note that construction is prohibited on all Federal Holidays, noting the upcoming days: Christmas Day, New Years Day and Martin Luther King Day.
NEW LEGISLATURE
Enclosed please find a two page document titled Notice Assessments and Foreclosure, and an accompanying Delinquency Policy. The distribution of these documents are mandated by the newly adopted Assembly Bill 2289. Please note that the wording in this document is directly from the new Bill. Please review and keep on file with your permanent records. Thank you.
COMMUNITY VANDALISM
In recent weeks, we have experienced some malicious vandalism to residents property, particularly to vehicles. Some of these incidents include spraying vehicle interiors with fire extinguishers, shaving cream on the exterior of vehicles, etc... If you notice any suspicious activity, please report this immediately to the Sheriffs Department at 425-1800.
