The Bay Banter - January 2002
The next meeting of the Board of Directors will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 14, 2002 at the Stevens residence, 197 Monarch Bay Drive. A homeowner forum will be held at the beginning, to provide the homeowners with an opportunity to discuss issues directly with the Board. The February meeting will be held on Monday, February 11, 2002 at the McLeish residence, 101 Monarch Bay Drive.

ANTI-AIRPORT CAMPAIGN
The campaign is now in full swing to raise the $1.5 million needed to properly present Proposition W, the anti-airport initiative. Monarch Bay’s share of this fund raising effort is $150,000. To date we have raised $50,000, so we have our work cut out for us.

There have been a number of solicitations made directly from various organizations within our community. In order that Monarch Bay obtain the proper credit, please see that either Wayne Rayfield, Leonard Kranser or Cliff Anderson receive your contribution envelope.

We also have a Committee circulating throughout the community calling on homeowners personally to make your contribution. We hope that each homeowner will see their way clear to contribute at least $1,000 in order to assure that we can protect our way of life and guarantee that the favorable polls that have shown the anti-airport initiative winning will hold true throughout the campaign.
